Jewelry Appraisal

Trust the experience that comes with 38 years of being a qualified appraiser in the Provo/Orem Utah County area. We offer appraisals all kinds of jewelry, diamonds, gemstones, sterling flatware, watches, and more. If you haven’t had an appraisal on your jewelry in the past five years, we recommend you have an appraisal by our experienced jewelry appraiser and then have it documented in detail. Most appraisals are done for the purpose of obtaining insurance coverage in the case of loss, damage, or theft. However, our appraisal can also be used for estate tax evaluation, value comparison, casualty loss, collateral, and barter purposes. If you feel the need for an appraisal on your jewelry, please stop by our store for an experienced jewelry appraiser in the Provo/Orem Utah County area.

Lab Reports

Utah County Jewelry Appraiser
If you are in the Provo/Orem area and own an uncertified diamond and would like to have it certified with GIA or AGS, Goldsmith Co. can help you choose the best independent lab appraiser where it can receive an appraisal and become certified. We’ll make sure it gets there safely from our Provo/Utah County location, and explain the terminology when it comes back. Proper certification ensures accurate representation of all the diamond’s quality and value. Goldsmith Co. feels strongly enough about appraisal and certification with diamonds that they only offer diamonds from GIA, AGS, and GGL laboratories. Certification and appraisal through these laboratories is the only way to be 100 percent sure about the quality of your diamond.

Thank you so much for taking such good care of us! My ring is BEAUTIFUL! The diamond looks so good. Thanks again. Your Goldsmith customers for life,

James & Meagan

Tip from Wil and Trevor: Getting your jewelry appraised at least every five years is a great habit to get into. If you buy jewelry every year, you may want to do it annually. Key it off your Anniversary or some other (even more) memorable date like Christmas, and you’ll find it’s not that much trouble to get it done.
